Wellington 70ft

Kai

Yacht description

Kai is a custom built 70ft sailboat. She has had a wonderful history – originally built for the CEO of Coca Cola to travel around the world and now having a new lease of life cruising the Caribbean. New owner/operators, Justin and Sarah, are a wonderful couple who share a love of the sea and can’t wait to share the experience with their guests.

Layout is two master queen cabins with ensuite bathrooms. There is also a bunk room which makes Kai perfect for families. This bunk room would share one of the two bathrooms onboard. The yacht has air conditioning throughout (additional fee of $80 to run all night).

On decks there is a spacious aft deck with chairs for watching the world go by. There is a hydraulic swim platform making getting in and out of the water very easy. Forward there is a shaded area with comfy bean bags that will always catch a breeze so the perfect spot to be for watching the sun go down.

Penny's personal opinion

Why book Kai – CLASSIC STYLE – this yacht fulfils every fantasy you have of sailing off into the sunset – she is a true beauty. There is also the choice to cruise new areas as Justin and Sarah love to sail, so your next trip could be the Grenadines, or St Barths, or…

I was fortunate enough to sail with the crew of Kia from Marathon Florida to Georgetown Bahamas. To call it the trip of a lifetime would be an understatement. It was truly a life changing adventure. I am a sailor myself and am always weary about sailing on another captain’s boat, but Justin is an exception to the rule. He has more experience on the water then most sailors twice his age and he is always willing to pass his knowledge to others. Hanging out with Justin and Sarah on all the islands along the way, hiking, fishing, swimming, and sometimes just chilling, will be memories that I will cherish forever. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart. Fair winds my friends.

The captain and first mate are super professional, welcoming, laid back and open minded people, they know best spots for snorkeling, fishing or best Mohitos. It was a great pleasure spending a week on the beautiful and very comfy boat having delicious meals and great conversations with Justin and Sarah. Thanks a lot for this unforgettable experience and see you on my next holidays with Kai!
