Copper Penny is a 56ft lagoon catamaran and yes, her behind does look big – a huge 31 feet wide! There are three equal queen sized staterooms, each with walk around bed and ensuite bathrooms. These cabins are really fresh and airy with light wood and strong colours on the bed linens. Add to this, TV, DVD and individual climate control and these will certainly be your haven at day’s end.

The salon is gorgeous with panoramic windows and lots of natural light. There are comfy sofas and an indoor dining area. The galley is part of the salon so you can relax with a cocktail and watch your gourmet meals being prepared. The cockpit has acres of really comfortable seating, not something that is always the case with catamarans – it also boasts a fridge and wet bar plus a lovely al fresco dining option.

Our personal opinion

Why book Copper Penny – THE SPACE – The room and space onboard are truly spectacular. There is tons of room for everyone to relax and have their privacy but also great gathering areas, which are welcoming and comfortable. Add to this an awesome collection of water toys and one of the best crews around, and you have the ingredients for the perfect vacation.

Together they have a deep passion for all of the adventures that the Virgin Islands have to offer and enjoy sharing them with others. As a couple they offer a charming graciousness that helps people to feel comfortable and fully relaxed.     Dear Ben and Rachel (AKA BEST CREW EVER), This has been the most amazing trip we could ever imagine! The undivided quality time with family is something we rarely get and it has been a blessing – because of the two f you! Despite our crazy travel stories, we were welcomed aboard with open arms & ya’ll made it so easy to feel like home. Rachel, thank you for the delicious meals, adventurous (barefoot) hiking, showing us how to find the largest lobster in the world while snorkeling, and serving all of our needs and desires. Ben, thank you for being the best captain ever; getting us to the most beautiful places safe and sound, taking us to the coolest destinations, and doing the behind the scenes work on the boat. Ya’ll are two special people and you make such an amazing team. Many people don’t get the chance to ever do something like this and we are honored we got to charter on Copper Penny with you!
