I can’t even put into words how special this week has been to our family. Because of your extraordinary effort, kindness, attention to detail and attentiveness we will never forget our time on EMYSA. We booked this trip to see the islands, connect as a family, experience new destinations, live on and in the water. What we didn’t expect is the actual journey we were taking was a culinary one. Meal after meal after snack after appetizer, Sarai delivered flawlessly. We’ve eaten at Michelin star restaurants and had less meals with less flavor than we enjoyed on EMYSA. The worst two meals we had this week were because we ate at a restaurant and it wasn’t prepared by Sarai. At 26 years old, Sarai is one of the best up and coming chefs in the world perfecting her craft in a small catamaran in the BVI. She is also a great crew member for boating operations.
Bastian makes the technical and difficult parts of sailing and navigating and vessel execution look easy. All week Bastian went above and beyond the call of duty while simultaneously keeping one eye on the boat and its guests while also making sure Sarai had his assistance when needed. There wasn’t anything we asked for that Bastian didn’t deliver. He always made sure our kids were having fun, and is the best snorkel guide we’ve ever had.
We can’t wait to follow your journey and see where it takes you. If this week is any indication, your limits will only be subdued by your desires. You two together are such a special team and for us to be a small part of your journey is an absolute blessing. We can only pray that our paths cross again. You’ve set the highest bar possible for any crew in our future.
