At the forward cockpit, accessible directly from the salon, guests can relax and enjoy the sailing experience up close. The spacious flybridge provides 360-degree views and plush seating—an idyllic setting for sunset cocktails or simply soaking in the beauty of the sea.

Why book Island Standard Time? – Seamless indoor–outdoor living
One of the biggest reasons to book a Bali catamaran like Island Standard Time is how effortlessly it blends indoor and outdoor living. The salon completely opens to the aft deck with Bali’s signature lift-up door and wide sliding windows, turning the entire space into one large, open lounge. There’s no real line between inside and outside—you’re always connected to the sea, the breeze, and the view.

Whether you’re having breakfast at anchor, lounging underway, or enjoying sunset drinks, the boat feels open, airy, and relaxed all day long. This design is especially perfect for warm-weather cruising like the BVI, where life naturally happens outdoors. Crew profile

Solomon first learned to sail in the rugged waters of Scotland, where the mix of wild seas and sweeping coastlines sparked a passion for sailing that has only grown stronger over the years. What began as a pastime soon developed into a lifelong passion for the sea. Cian has lived and cooked in Australia, England, France, and back home again. His journey has always been about chasing great food and even better craic, and for him, cooking is about more than flavour—it’s about people, memories, and shared experiences.

Our trip was incredible. Sol and Cian were amazing. Cian is such a great chef. He made wonderful meals that were healthy and delicious. Sol was very competent and brought us to beautiful places. Sol used to bartend so he made delicious cocktails. They were calm and easy going and always accommodating. We could not ask for better crew. It was definitely our best trip to the BVI.
What a perfectly wonderful holiday! Solomon & Cian, you were absolutely wonderful! The combo of daily swimming, snorkeling, Cian’s incredible food, setting sail and taking in the beauty of the BVI’s under Solomon’s expert guidance truly made for one of our top holidays of all time – a bucket list item that will now be a repeat, hopefully, around the world!!

Captain Sol & Chef Cian far exceeded all expectations! Their willingness to take us to the most special waters off the beaten path truly made for everlasting memories. They are so kind and professional.

Cian’s meals can be considered works of art. It is said ‘first we feast with our eyes’, and we did, every day, all day!! The BVI waters are so inviting, every stop was another opportunity to swim, play, relax.

We were so surprised to just how large ‘Island Standard Time’ lived. Seven of us + the crew and we never felt cramped. A perfect boat for us. True luxury. Till we meet again (and we will), thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
