It’s been a week since our BVI catamaran vacation aboard the Scuba Doo. The vacation high is over, and I finally have time to relay our thoughts. As soon as we three couples boarded Scuba Doo, we knew it was going to be an epic week. Several of us had previously been on a catamaran in the BVI two other times through other companies. We knew what to expect, and what we preferred to do…or so we thought.

Kris and Aneta – WOW – you two were beyond amazing! Your attention to detail, sharing of stories and finding new places for us to explore exceeded our expectations. We had just enough activities and relaxation times to please the entire group. Snorkeling and floating at the Caves and Indians and also at two coves new to us was perfect. The two divers of the group were able to get their fill of diving without interfering with the rest of the group plans. “Bubbles Up!” Kris was also patient and attentive when one of us went on a discovery dive for the first time. Aneta and Kris also know their way around the kitchen! We did not go hungry and thoroughly enjoyed all the meals, and treats in the ‘Dome of Yum’. Our highlights are The Baths, Conch Island Tour in Anegada and Saba Rock. Kris and Aneta were troopers for our White Party wine tasting dinner and Scuby Doo night. Oh the laughs!

Thank you Aneta & Kris for an amazing vacation and charter we’ll never forget! The diving was beyond words from the night dive to the lobsters amd so much more. The food was so delicious and I hope to cook as well as you back home. We loved playing in the water and getting to learn about the islands and sailing on the bridge. We hope to come back again because you guys are so great! Thank you so so much for making this charter so magical.

Thank you for an amazing honeymoon/family vacation excursion in the USVI/BVI’s. The diving & dining experience was absolutely top notch. You are the friendliest, most capable crew in the Caribbean ☺️ The food was amazing – not only the crazy amazing flavor – but how do you do that in that tiny kitchen?! Cocktail hour was always spot on. No one can agree on what was best, mojitos, Manhattans, passion fruit margaritas or bushwhackers.

How good was the 50th birthday celebration? Perfect! It is now the birthday by which all other birthdays will be measured. Where else can you get a champagne toast and a light up squid hat? Only on Scuba Doo.

Diving from the boat every day was a huge highlight. You found dive sites that were a great fit for our group and made it work with all the best island side trips. Your activity recommendations were on point!!! From hikes to dives to cocktails!

Thank you for a beautiful and memorable adventure! This was a once in a lifetime experience that we will remember forever. We are so thankful for the amount of thought places into the location and activities every single day. The hard work and amazing food could never be better. Speaking on Grace & Liam’s behalf, this trip gave them an insight on what hard work and kindness look like. Grace has always wanted to sail, but now more than ever she really wants to! Both of you have made us feel at home even in close quarters. Thank you again for an amazing week and fantastic Easter!

Words cannot express our gratitude for all you have done for us. Being our first time on an adventure such as this, we were not sure what to expect. The two of you made this trip truly extraordinary. As a family, we have been fortunate to have traveled to many places. This trip has certainly tanked at the top. You went above and beyond to ensure we got the most of our short time onboard. The experiences you provided; the unbelievable meals (and gluten free!), the sailing, the snorkeling & diving, the wake-boarding, all of it was truly the most memorable. We all so appreciate all your hard work. I am sure as Grace and Liam look back at their childhood, this trip will surely be a high point, if not the highest. With that Bridget & I are so thankful. Another day in paradise! This was an incredible week and time went by way too quickly. I easily got used to the morning swim, endless snorkeling, and the most amazing food. The diving was rich with beautiful coral, fish, lobsters, turtles, and rays. We loved the peaceful sailing, made even more fantastic by the playful dolphin that visited us. The captains’ cocktails were a treat – from painkillers to espresso martinis.

You are both amazing at what you do! You were informative before the trip and your guidance during the trip made everyday filled with fun. Your energy and positivity is a joy to be around! We will miss your home in paradise and are left wanting more! Kiki’s 5th Pirate Birthday Party was the cutest!

Captain Kris and Anetta were fantastic on all aspects. The boat was amazing – super-comfortable and well-equipped. I loved the layout of the salon, with the u-shaped sofa and middle console. We had all meals out on the deck – never really used the salon but I liked the open floor plan that made it seem more spacious. All of our rooms were comfortable with good mattresses and nice, efficient bathrooms.

The food was delicious – and it wasn’t easy with our dietary preferences and restrictions. All meals were delicious and well-presented. Anetta did a great job making Maddie’s meals replicate ours but vegan. And she even baked a chocolate birthday cake for Lauren (along with presenting her with a bottle of champagne and a map of the BVI with our journey charted on it). So thoughtful. Kris and Anetta joined us for dinner at Saba Rock one evening and it was much fun.

We snorkeled a ton – saw some sea turtles, sting rays, lots of amazing fish, including a few barracuda, awesome coral. Kris helped a fisherman rescue an Eagle ray from his net that Jay and Maddie found while kayaking – a happy ending to a potential for a bad outcome.

We hit great beaches and some of our top must-sees – Norman Island, Willy T’s (where Jay became somewhat famous for doing about 8 backflips from the top deck – people we saw at other islands said “Hey, you’re the backflip dude!”) the Baths, Cooper Island, the bubbly pools, the North Sound, and Caneel Bay.

It was an amazing week and something we will all remember for a very long time. Thank you for everything you did to make it happen and make it amazing.
