Yacht description

Island Kisses is the perfect catamaran for up to four couples. Lots of space both outside and below decks. The cabins have queen beds and ensuite bathroom – the aft port cabin has a little more space and an additional entrance from the cockpit. The crew are happy to swap twin bunks for a queen (at additional fee) should you have singles or kids in your group.

Bali catamarans have perfected the open plan aspect of their catamarans with a hydraulically lifting bulkhead between the cockpit and salon making the flow seamless. Add to this the front opening door to the forward cockpit and you probably have as much lounging space as you have at home! In addition, there is an upstairs sky lounge offering 360-degree views and cool breezes, the ideal spot for enjoying sundowners.

Why book Island Kisses – PERFECT– this is the word that describes this yacht. Bali have evolved their design so everything onboard is just in the right place and works flawlessly. Add to this pampering and gourmet food, and your vacation experience can’t help but be fabulous.

Crew profile
A keen diver, Stewart began scuba diving at the age of 14 and hasn’t stopped since. He loves to take guests snorkeling and he’s always on the lookout for undiscovered snorkel havens, eager to explore the underwater world and share his discoveries with guests. To further refine her skills for life onboard, Reeve completed a specialized yacht chef cooking course in the UK. This training helped her master the unique demands of galley kitchens and provisioning in remote locations. Her food is a reflection of her creativity, adaptability, and deep connection to the sea.

Sleep aboard the night before charter dates. Includes boarding after 4pm, welcome cocktail and canapes plus a light breakfast the next morning. Dinner is to be taken ashore at client expense.

Charter information

  • A crew gratuity, based on your level of satisfaction, but typically 15-20% of the charter rate is not included
  • Crew take starboard mid-ship cabin (twin cabin), but will move to starboard aft cabin on request for $160/night fee.

    How would you rate the booking process?
    The booking process was excellent. Trudi King made the experience so professional and easy. I truly enjoyed working with her in every aspect of the process.

    What was your first impression of the yacht?
    The yacht was everything that was advertised and perfect for our group of 6. We loved having the multiple areas of the boat to hang out and socialize.

    Was advertised equipment onboard and in good condition?
    Yes

    Did the skipper/hostess make you feel welcome and comfortable onboard?
    The skipper and hostess did a fantastic job at making our vacation a pleasant one. Loved the captain cocktails every evening and the hostess made the onboard meals elegant and very tasty. They even went what I felt above and beyond to ensure we had special and memorable moments, such as a champaign toast on Sandy Spit and a island land tour on Anegada. My husband’s luggage did not arrive, so the skipper took him to a resort to shop and then delivered personal items to our stateroom while we were touring. Such a first class crew!

    Did you feel free to choose activities?
    Yes, they were very accommodating in the planning of the activities. We did everything we wanted to do and some things that we did not even know existed based on their recommendations.

    Please provide specific comments regarding your skipper and hostess.
    As stated above, the crew did a fantastic job to make our vacation special. I have no negative feedback. Only positive things to say. The food was fantastic. Reeve is a great chef and is very passionate about making sure the food taste great and is presented in a artful way. Stewart is a master of his sailing craft. We felt safe the entire trip and enjoyed his story telling, morning briefs on “Where are we?”, and interesting teachings of how sailing works. From 1 to 5 with 5 being the best, I give them a 6!

    Were the meals and beverages as you expected?
    Yes, the yacht was well stocked with various types of beverages that we included in our preferences. The meals were all delicious and a great variety of different types of food.

    If you made any special requests were they met?
    We did have some food allergies and strong dislikes that chef Reeve worked around them and delivered flawlessly.

    Would you recommend this yacht for a charter vacation?
    Yes, both the boat and the crew were outstanding.

    Would you recommend Best of BVI Boats?
    Yes, they were great from the start to the finish. The sales person did a great job of recommending a few yachts to get us started and then helped us thru the booking process and did a great job of communicating as our trip neared the start date. I will use them again in the future.
