Yacht description

This new Port To Vino is a 58ft catamaran being delivered in June 2023 and is perfect for your sailing vacation. The layout is four queen cabins, with one larger cabin which has access to the cockpit as well as the interior of the yacht. There’s tons of space in each cabin and large ensuite bathrooms, also great headroom and storage space.

The galley shares the salon area –  guests can chat with their chef whilst watching their gourmet meals prepared. This area flows seamless into the aft cockpit, where there is an outdoor dining area.

Outside forward there is a sunken seating area which is the perfect spot whilst underway with a cooling breeze. “Upstairs” there is a third floor flybridge – great views, comfy seating and a wet bar – the perfect spot for sundowners.  Water access if easy from the large transoms at the back of the boat.

Why book Port to Vino – THE CREW – the crew are awesome and come across from the “old” Port to Vino.  We’ve known them for ages, and you couldn’t find a more fun loving, caring crew for your trip. Crew profile
Jeff and Caitlin have been working together since they met on the job at a dive shop in coastal North Carolina in 2010. Employment opportunities have taken them around the globe and back, settling in the BVI in 2012. They transitioned to crewed sailing charters from running dive boats in 2014 and haven’t looked back, logging over 150 charters with many happy guests who often return to make more memories.

    What was your first impression of the yacht?
    I was blown away by the size, quality, and new condition. It is a beautiful boat and it was obvious every detail had been well thought through. We were all very comfortable. We really liked hanging out on the top level.

    Was advertised equipment onboard and in good condition?
    Absolutely

    Did the skipper/hostess make you feel welcome and comfortable onboard?
    Jeff and Caitlin were very welcoming from the moment we arrived. The tour they provided each couple and the time spent providing an overview of the boat was very helpful.

    Did you feel free to choose activities?
    Yes.

    Caitlin and Jeff were engaging while still giving us space an privacy when needed.

    Were the meals and beverages as you expected?
    Caitlin is an amazing chef. We are all foodies, and we had high expectations. Caitlin blew away those expectations by providing home cooked amazing meals every day. The level of effort that went into each meal was tremendous. One of the guests is gluten free, and Caitlin always came up with a substitution that was not the easy way out. One example was she made homemade hamburger buns for lunch and made a gluten free option for our friend. She could have just as easily bought a store bought version, but instead was rolling the dough out by hand. They also had any drink or cocktail we could imagine. All of which was top shelf!

    If you made any special requests were they met?
    We asked Caitlin for one special meal to celebrate a birthday for one of the ladies in our dinner club. Caitlin worked for days and delivered a serious multicourse meal that was gourmet level. We were blown away! She even went to the French wine store to find pairings for the meal which were amazing!

  • Jeff and Caitlin were great! Very professional and lots of fun. They interacted with our group perfectly. The boat is amazing and perfectly maintained. Food was awesome and made from scratch daily. We had several restaurant owners on board. All were impressed with Caitlin’s abilities in the galley.

  • Our charter was one of the best vacations we have ever done. The personal touches by the crew made it a great event. Their marine knowledge, especially, made a big difference whilst snorkeling – every session was very unique. Caitlin is a great chef and put special touches on each meal. Jeff is an extremely competent Captain, very focused on safety, but he also made some fun drinks! We can’t wait to charter again with Captain Jeff and Caitlin!

  • Ann and I just got back… Jeff and Caitlin are head and shoulders superior to any crew that we have ever had.
    Caitlin has a remarkable ability to create complex and subtle flavors which add several layers of depth to her meals. Every happy hour Jeff served us a different cocktail creation, all of which were perfectly light and refreshing, and none of which I (a semi-professional drinker) have ever tasted (the setting… at anchor lounging on the new bolsters under the new fore deck shades… certainly doesn’t hurt the taste of the cocktails!) .

    Caitlin and Jeff could draw a map of the details of every dive spot from memory and Caitlin has a deep fund of knowledge of sea life and fish behavior. Every morning Caitlin had made the beds, cleaned the bathrooms and done some sort of magic folding the towels into animal shapes… before we had finished breakfast… we called her the housekeeping Ninja. All that on top of having delightful personalities! Caitlin and Jeff are real pros.

  • The two of you are a treasure! Thank you so much for keeping us safe (a bit of a challenge with a 3 & 5 year old pair) and taking all of us on a tremendous adventure. But most of all, thank you for the warmth and caring and the amazing attention you gave to our children. They are going to miss you, as shall my wife and I. All the best – we hope this is “see you later” and not “goodbye”.

  • Jeff and Caitlin attended to our every need. They were the perfect hosts. They made us feel comfortable and safe and were so much fun to hang out with. We just loved them and would highly recommend the crew to anyone looking for the vacation of a lifetime.
